Ok... its official... I'm going back to North Carolina. I bought a plane ticket for 10:20pm on Sunday Aug 14. And I get into Raleigh at 9:56am on Monday Aug 15. Then I will be back in Asheville sometime on Tuesday Aug 16... just in time to start class at 9am the next day. So... I have less than three weeks left here. That's just depressing.
Lance
won the Tour de France while I was in Napa Valley
and Monterey this weekend. Wine tasting is my favorite. And I saw some seals
at Monterey.
I get to start entering responses to the DriveWell survey I emailed to 219 people last week. So far I have 55 responses... That sucks, because I have to call the people who don't email me back - I really don't want to call 160 people. But if I had to, the survey would take like 7 minutes to do over the phone, so thats 1,120 minutes or close to 19 hours. Is that right? I don't claim to be good at math. Well anyway, that's assuming that people answer their phones and cooperate and/or call me right back. Which, judging from my experience with the program examples, simply isn't going to be the case. Maybe if I don't get done, they will make me stay here. :)
Other things on my to-do list:
- Continue writing Chapter Five, Surveys and Screening Tools
- Organize and annotate Nutrition Resources
- Call the last delinquent Program Example
- Finish Physical Activity glossary
